Buffalo Wild Wings will open the doors of its first ‘GO’ model restaurant on May 13, just miles from the Buffalo Wild Wings Atlanta Support Center. The new restaurant format is designed specifically for takeout and delivery orders.
The 1,800 sq. ft. ‘GO’ restaurant will feature a walk-up counter, digital menu boards, condensed seating and TVs for guests to enjoy while waiting for their orders.
Unique to the Buffalo Wild Wings ‘GO’ format, guests who order ahead will be able to pick up their meal from heated takeout lockers, providing a contactless and hassle-free experience.
The ‘GO’ model will offer traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, sides and all 23 Buffalo Wild Wings sauces and dry rubs. For fans of BOGO Traditional Tuesdays and Boneless Thursdays, fear not; you can get your fill of those weekly specials at the ‘GO’ location as well.
“I am thrilled to introduce the new ‘GO’ model in our own backyard of Atlanta, Georgia,” said John Bowie, Chief Operating Officer, Buffalo Wild Wings. “We’ve seen the success of this model over the past six weeks, with our takeout and delivery business growing over 140%. Buffalo Wild Wings ‘GO’ is perfect for friends and family who want to enjoy our authentic, New York-style buffalo wings at home.”
In converting 1,250+ sports bars to a to-go only model over the past few weeks, Buffalo Wild Wings has further refined its takeout and delivery process, providing key insights and best practices that will be applied to the new ‘GO’ model.
The new Buffalo Wild Wings ‘GO’ will be located at 5840 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
